The Grand Bazaar (Turkish: Kapalıçarşı, meaning ‘Covered Bazaar’; also Büyük Çarşı, meaning ‘Grand Bazaar’) in Istanbul is one of the largest and oldest covered markets in the world, with 61 covered streets and over 3,000 shops which attract between 250,000 and 400,000 visitors daily. In 2014, it is listed No.1 among world's most-visited tourist attractions with 91,250,000 annual visitors. The Grand Bazaar is located inside the walled city of Istanbul, in the district of Fatih and in the neighbourhood (mahalle) bearing the same name (Kapalıçarşı). It stretches roughly from west to east between the mosques of Beyazit and of Nuruosmaniye. The Bazaar can easily be reached from Sultanahmet and Sirkeci by tram...
Every Wednesday we have this awesome food market that sets up for the day with fresh fruit, veggies, nuts, flour, eggs and house hold goods. This is called a Pazar here in Turkey, a place where your lower to mid class people shop (I'm still getting used to all these classes as in Australia its not something we use) In my eyes Im not sure why everyone doesn't shop here its fresh and cheap so I'm not complaining :) ✗ Follow me on the social Instagram - sskyy Twitter - sskyyb ✗ Music Details: https://soundcloud.com/jeff-kaale/dancing-in-the-moonlight Music Title - Dancing in the moonlight Music Artist - Jeff Kaale

The world famous and historic Grand Bazaar, Istanbul (Turkey). Vic Stefanu, email@example.com. Istanbul, historically also known as Constantinople and Byzantium, is the most populous city in Turkey and the country's economic, cultural, and historic center. Istanbul is a transcontinental city in Eurasia, straddling the Bosphorus strait (which separates Europe and Asia) between the Sea of Marmara and the Black Sea.
Leading animal welfare expert Temple Grandin PhD, professor of animal science at Colorado State University, guides the viewing public with an expert eye on the growth and delivery of 253 million turkeys each year. In the video, the viewer gets an up-close look as Grandin interacts with a flock of 15,000 birds roaming easily down the football-field length of a climate-controlled turkey house. When readied for market, those turkeys ride up into conveyor loading trucks and to an orderly delivery at the processing plant. There, the process of humanely stunning the birds renders them unconscious before processing under the watchful presence of USDA government inspectors enforcing safe and sanitary preparation. At each step along the methodical movement of rinsing, cleaning and separating th...
